OUR VISION

The EAM Chinese Convocation hopes to provide a venue to better share information and communicate with Chinese Episcopal Churches nationwide. Within this website you will find highlights of local church events, newsletters,  directories, and new resources. 

Most importantly, this website is also presented in Chinese.  We welcome any pictures, news, announcements, or prayer requests.  We invite you to email us.

Kaity Chang

Co-Convenor

Kaity Chang is Warden of St. George’s Episcopal Church in Flushing, New York. She currently serves as Organist for the Chinese ministry of the church and Director of the newly created St. Georges Church Food Pantry which began earlier this year. She is interested in serving the poor and marginalized to help them become self-sufficient and acquire life skills to further their career goals. Kaity also holds further capacities as a lay mentor of ANDREWS, and a design team member of New Community 2020. She hopes she can help bring together Asian ministry across the different Chinese churches and foster new Asian leadership among the EAM ethnic convocations.

    Pamela Tang

    Co-Convenor

    Pamela Tang has just completed her first year in training as Deacon Postulant, Diocese of New York. She offers prayers online through DNY Deacons in Prayer on Facebook. She is the Director of Mission Graphics, a publishing ministry of Church of Our Savior, Office Manage for the Church, as well as a dedicated parishioner.  Pamela is an EFM Mentor. She serves on the DNY Commision on Global Mission, participatedi in ANDREWS and Women of Wonder, Inc.

        Rev. Katherine Y, Feng

        Co-Secretary

        Rev. Katherine Feng immigrated from ShangHai, China to the United States in 1990’s as a young adult.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal church and had actively served in the Vestry, Strategic Planning Team, Church Profile Committee, Rector Search Committee, and Liturgical Team for both English and Chinese congregations at Church of Our Saviour in San Gabriel, California before she’s called for Ordination process in 2016. 
        Rev. Katherine Feng assisted in the Lay Leadership Training Courses of Li Tim-Oi Center (An Episcopal Center for Chinese Ministry of Los Angeles Diocese) and translated <Becoming an Episcopalian> (Author: The Rev. Canon Dr. Winfred B. Vergara, Missioner for Asiamerica Ministries, The Episcopal Church) from English to Chinese. She also served as a Mandarin Interpreter at the College of Bishops in 2020 and the 15th Lambeth Conference in 2022.  
        Rev. Katherine Feng completed her Seminary Study at IONA (A Collaborative Program of South-west Seminary and the Diocese of Los Angeles, California) in 2021 and was ordained to an Episcopal Priest in January 2022. She is now serving as a supply clergy in the Diocese of Los Angeles, California.
        Rev. Katherine Feng is passionate about testifying for God’s love and preaching about Christ’s Salvation. With her multilingual skills and 20 plus years of work experience of assisting immigrants from Mainland China to seek their legal rights and to settle their lives in the United States, Rev. Katherine Feng is looking forward to planting the seeds of Christian faith and serving God’s people, the Chinese Community in particular, within and beyond the Episcopal Church.
